KARALEE GLANCED UP FROM THE PAPERS

ON HER DESK AT the knock on her office door.

“Come in.”

The door swung open and Gideon walked in, closing it behind him. He was dressed in black slacks today, a blue oxford shirt. He almost looked like the academic he was, except that she knew there was much more to him. That thoroughly wicked side her body was responding to already, simply seeing him walk through the door.
